Excellent review! Thanks for bringing us up-to-date on the governments ridiculous shenanigans. Ford and his gang of scientific communists, have and are unfortunately misleading all Ontarians. It’s all about control, and unfortunately the vast majority of Ontarians are like polite pathetic sheep being led to slaughter.
I appreciate the comment, but I think you might have missed the point of the article. It's not about a gang of communist scientists leading people to slaughter. That sort of hyperbole and catastrophizing is exactly how you get people to ignore your concerns.
Instead, try to look at it like this: the faces of public health care more about bureaucratic reputation than they do actual evidence. They want to appear as if they always have and always will do the right thing, otherwise it invites questions about how qualified they really are. Combine this with the fact that our culture is steeped in safetyism, where we leaders do not try to mitigate, but eliminate risk entirely. Unfortunately, they fail to realize that by crushing one type of risk, it opens the flood gates to a whole host of other risks. In this case, by obsessively trying to reduce Covid cases - even when cases do not necessarily mean increased hospitalization - leaders have now increased the risk of other diseases, deteriorating mental health, unemployment, etc.
Thus, the point of the article is to show how over-bureaucratization always leads to failures on multiple fronts.
Screaming "communist" is no different than a woke warrior screaming "nazi." It gets us nowhere, at a time when we need to be moving somewhere.

Keep up the phenomenal work!
